The World Masters Mountain Race took place in Betws y Coed on Saturday.
Three Wilmslow members took part Mike Hill finished 27th, in the V45 race.
Rob Downs 9th in the V50 race. Tony Hulme 12th in the V65.
The standard was extremely high. The course consisted of slippery forest tracks ,muddy and rocky in parts, the final climb very steep. Mike and Rob's races were approx 10.5k, mine was 8.7k , there were 10 races in all, a long day for the marshalls.
Two photos only at the moment. Speedy Rob almost a blur on the final descent my last two k were in around 3.20min each, and Rob way faster.
It was definitely a relief to finish.
