The handicaps are ready for next Tuesday. Thanks to Andrew and Tim for all of the hard work required to create these. They are directly derived from our Run Britain Handicaps and we believe the lowest maintenance, fairest and most reliable way to apply the handicapping process across such a large group running on such a peculiar course.
Ideally, we could do with another marshal to stand on the road in Styal and direct the runner towards the runway so if anyone else can help, please say.

Roy: will oversee the athletes’ village and event helpdesk
Paul and Dave: will set the runners off at the allotted time and record the finishers
Victoria: marshalling at the 2nd left turn after Twinnies Bridge (then back to the Rugby Club to help with the finishers)
Gareth: marshalling at the Quarry Bank Visitors’ centre sending the runners out to Styal and homeward towards the mill
Carolyn: marshalling behind the Valley Lodge and sending the runners back in towards Styal woods
Chris: managing the course diversion after the bridge (after Giants’ Steps)
