Another sunny Saturday morning brought out a smaller number of club runners [22] at 12 parkrun events. Probably the Alderley Edge 10k was a higher priority for some. Perhaps some PBs? Or then again recovering from Friday’s Mid Cheshire 5k
Lots of Solo runners this week. Sam back at the Uni parks event PB’d by 18 seconds and second overall. Kate back at parkrun after 3 months had a good run – her quickest time this year and had an AG of over 80%. Nick first timed at Northwich. Tim first timed at Macc and volunteered, after Friday, to be tail runner – Tony was running too!. Ian back at York with his quickest time there this year. James chose the Lake District to complete his 50th, whilst Colin chose the green, green grass of Cheadle to run his quickest time there this year. After a 3-year absence Rebecca went back to Wythenshawe. Alan revisited South Manchester but had a slightly slower time than last week.
The Breakfast Club took to the water at Sale. Richard encouraged Chris around. Carolyn just missed on sub 30 – but it was her fastest there since 2018.
At a very quiet Wilmslow the ladies outnumbered the men – Roy! Di first lady home. Nicky taking time off directing to run her first parkrun there this year was top on AG. Roy was just a few seconds off his best there this year.
There were also 3 runners at Bramhall. Graham, Paul and Oliver. All had steady runs.
