With the recent weather, changes to the course had to be made in the week leading up to the event but South Cheshire & CAAA need congratulating for putting on an excellent event.
Excellent runs by Peter Speake and Sharon Johnstone and leading their respective teams home. Likewise Will Booth in the U20 race.
Certain sections of the course were thick with mud, but surprisingly extensive sections were very runnable!
Thanks to Roy, Janine, Paul and Dave for travelling to watch.
By the time I got back to the finish area, the Ladies presentations had long taken place…I cant comment on team placing's but we won some age category places.
In the Men's, the team finished third, but won the Vets event…In the latter, category wins for Graham MacNeill and Tom.

Rob Downs, Barry & Adam ran in the GM Champs…county criteria meant ineligible for the Cheshire's.

The weather was kind & the course not as mud bound as advertised. Great performances by everyone who took on the challenge. I have medals for Nicky & Sharon Johnstone for age category wins. I also have a more mile boot bag which belongs to someone…
