Summer Series League Tables – after 8 races

A  third of the programme has been completed, the table is taking early shape but much will change in the next month and all will look very different by the time we get to Langley and Conwy. Already, though, five have run the seven races to quality for the 2013 competition. However qualification this year brings only the mug. The more valued T-shirt requires 10 races of which at least 5 must be off-road (from Cloud 9, Shining Tor, Bosley, Roaches, Buxton, Freckled Cow, Bollington, Stockport, Pie & Peas, Coombes) and five on-road (from the other twelve).

Tony Hulme is league leader followed by Andy Dodd, Chris Cannon Sally Price and Simon Fenton

Those who have run six races are led by Jim Pendrill followed by Graham Taylor, Allan McCormick, Craig Hunt, Gareth Trimble, Matt Taylor, Chris Grime, Janine Ellis, Alan Turner, Carolyn Hirons, Sharon Jones and Gail Hill.

Andrew Whittington leads those who completed five races, Rob Wilson those who have done four, Barry Archbold those on three. Rob Downs has two first places from his two races.

Heading the Ladies' League is Sally with Janine, Carolyn, Sharon and Gail in pursuit. Di has four wins from her five races.

Tony tops Division 2 from Allan, Craig, Gareth, Matt, Chris, Di, Nick Bishop, Richard Hirons, Jarrod Homer and Andy Watts.

Andy leads Division 3 from Chris, Sally and, newly promoted, Simon Fenton, then come Janine, Alan and Sharon. Louisa has won all her five races.

Carolyn heads 4 from Gail but Huma has three wins from her five races. Don is followed by Nina who tops those on four races. Is Pete Watson, with his win at Bowdon, the first over 70 to score 60 points,?

  1. It’s a marathon, not a sprint. Oh, hang on, that’s not right…

  2. Thanks for analysis Ian , but for T shirt read 12races 5 on, and 5 off road, and whatever you like for the other two.
sorry but original posting seems to have got lost.
