Congleton Half Marathon

I managed to maintain WRC's fine record in producing unlikely winners in this pleasantly undulating half marathon (2008: Malcolm, 2010: Mike Halman).  In a close run race I finally managed to break away from Vale Royal's Stuart Doyle around 10 miles and ran scared for home hardly noticing the infamous "sting in the tail".  I did notice the great support from Mike Marshall and others out on the course.

Cat completed a back-to-back hat trick of HMs (Macc-Luberon-Conglers).  Unlike me both Cat and Sue considerably improved on their times from Macc.
