One of the pleasures of the parkrun is that you get to test yourself on the same course in a variety of running conditions. Last week hot sunshine and a baked hard course; this week we were back to Boggart Hole.
James Wheeler certainly wasn't taking any excuses as he came through to take 2nd place in a race that was closely fought between the leading four. Mike Cooper was looking for an easy run to soothe his injury niggles but was forced along by a young lad half his size who continued to chase him right into the funnel. Ian Smallwood was well placed to enjoy it all of this safely from a 100m behind. Both Christine (another day, another race) and Sally posted course PBs despite the sticky conditions.
