A low turnout from Wilmslow compared to previous years for one of the most competitive 10K's in the North West. If you like your long straights and roundabouts then this one is for you which naturally lends itself to quite fast times, although the motorway bridges always make for a tough final 4k.
Despite still feeling a litte heavy legged from Malcolm's 10.3 last week I just pipped inside my PB, while Sharon clocked a great time just outside 40mins and enough for second V35 on the day. Catriona was the sole other representative and, presumably like most of us, was feeling a little weary from having stayed up half the night watching Paula.
