I sincerely hope that we have plenty more or perhaps a summer to look forward to !
With plenty more of our own Summer series events , one more Cheshire GP and the weekly Bramhall Park run , we are not short of action.
We are also only ten weeks away from a new XC Season.
We set new standards last season : both men and ladies teams coming second and the men retaining the Vets trophy. With an influx of new talent who knows what we might achieve ?

Sat Feb 7th : Wythenshawe Pk….and presentation event
Given that in previous years those who won series prizes had to wait in growing darkness to receive their prizes , the League are this year looking to have a hot pot presentation directly after the final race ( 3.30/4.00 ish).
I am helping to arrange this with one of the sponsors ( Manchester City Council sports division ) and looked at the facilities next to the Hall : great facility some 400 metres from the track : 300 year old stately home with Conference facility adjoining .
Our ambition is to get a turnout from all competing clubs after the final race to have a bite to eat in warmth and comfort and for the organisers to have warm dry facilities to compile the results .
All the more reason to have another great season .
