24 club runners at Chalmondey. A good turnout but lower than late giving a points bonanza for those who ran. Surprisingly with such strong turnouts we only have 6 runners who have completed all 4 races so far. Damian lead the way grabbing his 50 points and looking firm favourite for the top spot this year. The battle of the Bobby's was won by Bill this time.
Clare Hawkes made her debut and a strong run it was.
Penny Hink holds top position in both the Ladies League and the Group 4 & 5 league. There are lots of threats to her position so still very open. Clares first race position means she could be a contender for a medal position in the Ladies League,
The next race is only a few days away and first of the 5k's. For those who prefer a sprint to the long haul this is your opportunity to take advantage.
