The "dry run" proved rather soggy but the rain stopped in time for the race.
My sense of direction is legend but I managed to guide the guinea pig runners round the the first lap before leaving Bill and Vicky to fight it out.
It was just like the old days as Bill ran in stronly down the river bank to finish clear.
Vicky was in fact the only lady on the day but I can’t think of many that would have bettered 19:36 on a course with a couple of hills and some sticky woodland paths.
The Bishops packed well to take the team prize.
Thanks to Clare, Kate, Roy, Jim and Keith for marshalling, Catherine for photos and everyone else who turned up to help and run. All the timing and results worked fine and the results uploaded to the website.
