Two strong teams represented Wilmslow today and we enjoyed the support of Roy and Dave

Representing the men and in running order were :
Malcolm , Jim, Stuart , Mike , Tom and Ray.
For the ladies we had and in running order :
Clare , Vicky and Sue.
Fast two mile legs on fast flat terrain , with clubs and universities from up and down the country .
How would we equip ourselves ?
Incredibly well !!
With the men running six legs and starting five minutes before the ladies who then entered the fray , with the rain coming down harder as the afternoon progressed , it became increasingly difficult to track our position.
We believe that the ladies were 1st club team home and not far behind some of the top universities with Sue picking off two places in the final 100 metres .Prizes are awarded for first university team and first club team .
The men were also high up the club placings and mixing it with some leading and youthful university teams.
Everyone ran like the stars we know they all are .
We await the results eagerly ahead of the Heaton Pk XC opener on Saturday 25th October .
