Far from the glitz of St Tropez the CP 10at Twickenham continues to attract a class field of athletes, and in recent years a few WRC runners. Conditions were good for this largely flat and well organised race along the banks of the Thames. I ran, or at least started with my son Jon who’s just coming back from injury but despite this, the energy of youth proved a greater advantage than the experience that comes with age, and he soon left me.
I can recommend this race as a cheaper alternative to St Tropez although I will admit it doesn’t have quite the same glamour!
