Jim made full use of the perfect sunny conditions to run a great time that showed the benefit of his recent training with the Chinese elite. Ian Smallwood(*) smashed the course record for running in jeans possibly taking the overall casually dressed record at the same time. And there was a great first run for Stefanie on this tricky 5k course.
(*) Unfortunately due to a token / funnel mix up Ian is missing in the official results. This is especially unfortunate given that Ian had the job of managing the funnel. Anyway this means he'll have to run again to claim the "casually dressed" CR.

Tittersworth Reservoir Race 1 Staffordshire Moorlands Summer Series
This race turned out to be another epic battle between Damian and Simon Bailey with Damian the victor by one second, i was probably still on the far side of the lake to witness the sprint finish.
