Nearly 250 of us enjoyed a lively start to the Bank Holiday weekend. After a rainy week it was all a bit muddy and slippery in the park and most runners found it hard to match their times from the previous week. Not so Pete Bannister who chased Mike Cooper into the finishing straight and shaved a couple of seconds off his PB. There was a parkrun debut for Stephen Feber who was so keen that he had his barcode on his iPhone at the finish.

Woodbank Park Run Event 2
Why not try a different park run and compare courses plus the bonus of a new PB.For those who did the relays earlier in the year the course is very similar two laps almost to the bottom of Vernon park up the cobbles and around the 1k loop in Woodbank park .Nice start and finish on the track with tuck shop toast to finish! Should suit all our road runners as 99% on tarmac paths.
