This allowed Mick, with his second win in three races, to solidify his third place but realistically he can’t win. Nor can Trevor Morris who took the 49 points. Damian and Jim with 48 and 47 strengthened their top six positions but are too far behind the four leaders to make the podium.
The table then reads Nicky, Kate, Andy, Geoff, Don with Sally jumping up the table ahead of Ian.
Macclesfield looks likely to be critical in determining the 2009 winner.
