A total of 222 runners enjoyed the excellent autumnal conditions this week in the park, none more so than this week’s runaway winner Damian.
In one of the quickest runs ever recorded for the event, Damian cruised to victory in 15.40, moving him up to 3rd on the all-time list. Behind him Stuart Parrott and Adam King repeated their 2nd and 3rd places from last week.
In his second appearance David Telford of Altrincham AC improved his time by 31 seconds to duck under 19 minutes and set a new age 60 course record of 18.59. David also recorded the highest age-graded performance of the day, and ninth best ever, with 85.25%. Ian and Roy now have some speed work to do to get back on the V60 chart.
Course PB's for Pete and John and Stephen finally got to use his iPhone barcode.
