This race is one of the Manchester Park Series that all handily incorporate a 3k junior race so I'm able to reclassify Sunday racing as a family activity. "Debdale" sounds like it might have a lake and a few fells but in fact it is a small park by the reservoirs in Gorton. The two twisting, undulating laps on trail and paths had the feel of a parkrun and in a small field I was able to improve on my usual 4th place.
