Tom, the reigning title-holder, in his seventh race, recorded his sixth 60 points to displace Damian at the top of the league.

Steve Smith, also completing his seven, comes onto the leader-board at 7th. Simon moves above Richard, Nick jumps up to 16th. and Angela 17th., Matt moves above Huma and Chris, Sharon also overtakes Chris,  Soraya comes up to 28th.

Katy leads those who have completed six races.  Mick, who has two first places, leads those on five. Malcolm, who has three second places, leads those on four.

  1. Malcolm, in his other vest, won the Teggs Nose race outright on Saturday. He started sensibly not yet leading after the first climb. On the final climb he could be seen opening a gap on the two chasers.

    ‘He started sensibly……’
    It’s more a case of ‘I can’t go off fast like I used to!’ Nowadays I just have to go off steady and hope to reel in as many runners as possible!

    It shows just how well Tom is running for his age group when his age graded time is so far ahead of the Pie & Peas winner!
    However if you look at the full results on the Vale Royal website you will see there is a V55 runner that was even faster than Tom!
