Alderley Park Winter 5 miler – 22nd January 2023

The RunNorthWest Winter trail run sceduled to start outside the Conference Centre, and be a 2-lap course over 5-miles within the hidden grounds of Alderley Park, taking in the beautiful woodland, impressive lake, the working farm and the picturesque grounds. The race had, I think, a slight change due to the icy weather conditions.

Instead it used the original course (used for every previous winter version of this race) running up the pavement past the new houses and gym road, past Glasshouse and into the woods here as this cuts out some our biggest off road icy sections. The road section has been thoroughly gritted! This meant it was about 4.5 miles rather than the newer 5!

18 Club members started. 17 Finished. Hopefully Roy is OK
