Wilmslow Club Members parkrun results 3rd September 2022

Back on track with Parkruns now. Yesterday 32  Club runners participated at  12  parkrun events.

At Bramhall, Markus First Timed [FT]. Janine returned to her home course after her travels – so did Catherine (albeit after a 5-year absence).

It was a bit hillier in Stockport where Rebecca 5^th overall and first lady home with a PB too.

Some lone runners out. Matt had a quick Conga run! Improving his 022 time there. Wythenshawe saw a old friendship/Rivalry between Kate and Bev. Kate by a whisker – 2^nd on AG with 82.77%. Steve first timed at Burnage.  Tim – 3^rd finisher – PB’d and was 2^nd on AG somewhere on the Welsh Coast. Paul was torn between a Dracula and Pantomime run on the Yorkshire coast. Or was it the Scampi that attracted him.

A grassy Cheadle welcomed 4 Club runners. Richard came 2^nd with a PB. Ian had his quickest run there. The Breakfast club runners too – but Big C was missing?

At Stretford Newbies Victoria and GarethA ran. PB for V. First time for G.  Graham and Missus were also in Wales running.

That leaves the two popular local ones. Eight runners at both events.

Alderley saw Sharon first club runner home and second lady with a PB. Di was 4^th lady on her first run there. Sue also first timed.  Pity – shame her family couldn’t finish. Alan had a PB. No improvements for Richard and Oliver. Same for Ian and Roy – but at least no plasters were needed for anyone. Roy moving ever closer to his 200th. Man with dog and child stopped early.

Wilmslow had Sam and Nic first male and female runner home. Nic 3^rd overall had aPB too.JD back after 5 years. Jarrod with his quickest this year. I wasn’t sure that Southampton’s manager – Ralph Hassenhuttl – had put in an appearance. But it turned out to be  our 23 minute man Col. Rehab man was back after two weeks of Beer, Chips and Walks – no exercises! Taking the consultants instructions about running: From September do fast walking and some plodding – perhaps to an extreme [20 plods]! – over performed on a 38/39 minute target!!
