With racing opportunities over the weekend and no doubt some Christmas shopping to be fitted in we had 17 club members turnout to run at 7 parkrun events.
A bit wet and muddy most places at the moment.
A total absence of club runners at Bramhall was averted by Paul stretching his legs for Sunday. Whilst Tim, Nicky and Don returned to Congleton. Both very consistent there. On AG Nicky came first with an AG of 85.09%; Tim was second with 81.90%. No one else over 80%. Don creeping up to his 50th parkrun.
Strange happenings at Gravesend. Trevor returned after an absence of over 2 years and finished 16th just ahead of the first lady finisher – but was 15th male to finish. Spooky!
Alan, played away, and first timed at the Bard’s home. A nice quick run from him. Another set of travellers – the Johnstones – went and ran along the paths of the old disused rail line near Bakewell. Sharon first lady finisher. Oliver with a fast time.
Rebecca first timed near Newcastle 😊; second lady home with her fastest run for 2 months. Richard revisited Northwich.
That just leaves Wilmslow. There’s no beating Margaret on AG, but Andy was second on AG with an impressive 80.16%.
Sam, with a quick time, was first runner to finish. Graham in 9th was the next WRC runner home. – he’s approaching his 100th Wilmslow parkrun. Then we had Matt. Recovering from a long term injury his first parkrun for two years! And just 4 off his 100th parkrun. Andy had his fastest time this year. Richard might have been pacing, but he is approaching his 100th . Then came Nic; he just can’t stop running 24 minute parkruns at the moment.
