Leggy Ladies legs last all three legs.

If you wonder why 2 ladies were not at training last week. Well here’s why.

June 7

Day 1 of the Dales Way. All very runnable and very pretty. Perfect time of year, although a warm day. Highly recommended to run or walk. Dr. Kate (Kate Sutton) and I [Catriona] ran 29.5 miles at an easy pace, from the start in Ilkley to Hubberholme, with a generous stop off at Grassington to see an old friend Kathy Toft. Feeling completely bushed now! “Only” 27 miles tomorrow. Big thanks to our support crew Malcolm Fowler and Mike Marshall, who made it “easy” and fun X

June 8

Another magical day on the Dales Way. Exactly 26.2 miles and not quite as tired at the end of it. Very varied terrain with river paths, moorlands and trails. Beautiful weather again. Overnight in Sedbergh and on our way to Windermere tomorrow.

June 9

Last day of 3 for the Dales Way. Felt like a tough start and a day for grinding it out but as we approached our final destination, Bowness, we got a spring in our step. A great adventure of rolling fields, many wild meadows, lots of stiles and lots of animals today. Good to get the re then enjoy a meal at the Brown Horse in Winster.
