2018 Club Series Update – Hollins Green Dropped

Dear All,

I’m afraid the snow-apocalypse has necessitated another change to our 2018 Club Series. I’d like to go all drama about it and claim that Ian and I are having an “annus horribilis” in relation to the series but I fear that would merely be attention seeking and rather overstating it.

So the real news is unfortunately Hollins Green 5k, which is a Cheshire Grand Prix Race, now clashes with the rescheduled Wilmslow Half Marathon. Clearly priorities have to be set in terms of supporting the half marathon, therefore we are removing it from the 2018 Club Series. To be clear this does not mean that it is replaced by the WWHM in the series.

Obviously it is still part of the Cheshire Grand Prix, but we’ll leave any decisions in regards to that with the team captains.

I still haven’t found any updates regarding the staff moorlands race fixtures for this year. If you see any confirmation of race details and dates let us know.
