A great morning for the Gawsworth 10k, which since they moved the start to near the car park area is now actually a 10k!

This was my fourth race in eight days. Along with the urban orienteering and a tough Tuesday training session it had been a busy week.  Rich Hirons twisted my arm with the promise of tea and a bacon butty afterwards, so couldn’t resist.

Pleased to see Tony and Matt there, and Roy (running his first 10k in almost a year) turned up hoping to keep his run under the radar. Don’t know why as he ran very well.

The last mile was along the furrows of ploughed fields which made running a little tricky, but other than that it’s a great course with all the trip hazards marked in orange day-glo paint.
