As part of the Cheshire Road Race Grand Prix, a handicap competition also exists. Behind the scenes John Driscoll produces a number of indices based on previous performances and is thus able to work out individual improvements at each race. A prize is then given for best improvement. Delighted to announce that Bernard McCarron has won the men’s handicap prize at the Mid-Cheshire 5K.
