Sunday December 6th.
I've always though this an excellent race but not run it since Tony strained the concept of Summer Series by including it. It's normally freezing, so wet and windy made a change, a five-minute downpour in mile two. The course has changed, less road more track, lots of potholes containing indeterminate depths of water.l saw only Bernard after the first mile, that he was still in sight at 5, suggested he was running less well or I better.
Paul and James were happy with their result, Bernard and I unsure, but the more I looked at my stats the happier I became. Nice of Angela to come along and cheer me.
