parkrun “Summer Series” update.
Saturday 17/10/15.
A quiet weekend on the parkrun front. Tony appears to be quite fond of Congleton, but no improvement on his time in 23.03, our only runner there.
We had three runners out at South Manchester, Christian for a change didn’t get a PB finishing in 20.47…However Sue did, a great time of 24.20 moves her up the table a massive 10 places. Alan chased her all the way, but just failed to catch her, also finishing in 24.20 .
Our only two runners at Lyme Park also produced PB’s, Ian in 22.03 climbs 8 places up the table, closely followed ( both at Lyme park and up the table) by Di B in 22.09, they both go ahead of Christian, see you at Lyme Park next week Christian.
parkrun “Age Graded Competition” Wilmslow
We had 6 runners out at Wilmslow, Mike scored a percentage of 77.77% (18.49) slightly higher than the current heir to the throne, Tony, but Mike has been crowned previously. Steve 72.26% (20.15), Matt 66.27% (20.45) both had an attempt but fell short. Amy, coming back from injury, in her second parkrun finished with a percentage of 61,41% and a time of 24.06, a full one second behind her previous parkrun time. Not quite quick enough to depose Jan of the heir’s position. Carolyn in 27.23 and Chris in 24.18 made up the numbers.
Round and About
Great to see Louisa Whittingham win the ladies race at Bramhall with yet another PB.
Noticeably missing from Cheadle Hulme and South Manchester, Roy and Huma respectively.
