parkrun “Summer Series” update

Saturday 1st August

I go away for one week end and every man and probably his dog decide to parkrun. I headed for Keswick but didn't make it.

Eight of us did make it to Lyme Park, Malc the first WRC home in 19.52 but didn't improve on his score. Gareth with a PB 23.04 moves above Tim, Geoff with a PB 23.51 moves up three places and is now ahead of Tony. Bernard another PB 24.14 moves one second ahead of Christian, wonder where Christian's next park run will be? Zoe finished in 24.21 comes onto the table in front of Patrick who couldn't improve on his best score finishing in 25.29. Sally G first attempt got her round in 24.51 and is level with Janine…Elspeth managed a time of 31.28, a good time on this course.

Andy Whit finished 4th at Congleton with a PB of 17.31 but doesn't improve on his position followed by Tom in 18.25 coming onto the table level with Mike.

Doc Mat got a PB at South Manchester of 19.58 but doesn't beat his best time of 19.50 at Congleton with Huma finishing in 22.13, 12 seconds off her best time.

parkrun " Age Graded Comp " Cheadle Hulme

Only one runner this week but I expect more in the next month, its the only place where you have the chance to become the King or Queen ! Don't be shy !

Brian McCoubrey finished in 2nd place in a time of 19.46 and 67.12%.

I'm away next week so will up date tables as from Monday 17/8.

  1. Cheadle Hulme deserves some support.
It struggles as a new event and in the shadow of Bramhall.
Given that it is the choice for this months “Kings and Queens”, be good for you to give it a go…Variety is the spice of life etc!
