Whilst the mountain goats were gambolling over the Roaches, Paul and I decided to take the flat earth option yet again this year. As the Vet prizes do not go beyond MV50 it was more a case of trying to do a decent time on a flat course than pot hunt. Unfortunately that plan didn’t work as we were both a minute and a half down on last year. Paul put this down to the muggy evening and I put it down to another year older. Leanne repeated last year’s time which was a disappointment as she is running much better in 2015.
Bernard’s brother Danny McCarron, running for Chorlton, did a personal best at V50 in 44:30. Bernard is in denial.
