Only 6 days after Macc, four of us took on the challenge of another scenic 13 miles. The trails around Rivington's hills, woods and reservoirs were full of interest and surprisingly runnable. The heavy rain had us cowering in the car before the start but seemed to ease off as we ran. I was pushed all the way to the line in a battle for 2nd place. Di also picked up a 2nd place despite her dislike of the rough trails. Which were made for Al who had made a huge cake in anticipation of his victory. Which was fortunate as he was the only one who didn't win a prize.
