    Excellent race today : anecdotal feedback from those leaving after the race was that it had been enjoyed by all. From having spoken with Malcolm who is relinquishing some of his race duties, this is a gem of a race for a keen member to help to organise.

    Having marshalled here for the past 3 years on the course and at the finish , as we all know , just a friendly smile , a clap and an encouraging comment just spurs eveybody on and makes their memory of the race just that bit sweeter . You can train for a race , but a good marshall can add seconds to your time ?!
    Well done to all that ran , a hard distance in the sun , well done Malcolm for another flawless race .

    Many thanks to all the volunteers at Great Warford last Sunday. The race was once again a success and I am pleased to announce that the race raised £2,000 for The David Lewis Centre.
    2007 was the year I first started organising the charity races and after eight years it is time to take a step back from being the main organiser and I am hoping other members of the club will take over the role?
    Rob Downs will be the main organiser of Mobberley ‘Round The Runway’ race next year and likewise Andy Watts will organise the Wizard 5. I could do with someone ‘taking over the reins’ for Great Warford. Any volunteers?
