Summer Series after 16 races (Bollington Nostalgia)

The flurry of recent races means that although there are nearly three and a half months in which to contemplate a foggy ascent of the Langley Hill, the Series is entering its final stages. Of course, however, with 7 races left and only 7 to qualify anything, or almost anything, can change. That said, Damian remains overall leader and Di remains first lady – difficult to see either of those having altered when we are taking tea and cakes in the church hall in November.

We now have 44 who have run 7 races and, I think, 7 (4 of them from League 4) who have done 12 races; Mike Hill, Paul Norris, Janine Ellis, Huma Rahman, Gail Hill, Clare Hawkes and Simon Fenton, all of whom have the 5 road and 5 off-road finishes to make it onto the 2014 running shirt.

Allan has moved into second place in the Main Table above Mike, who is now equal third with Tom. Trevor is up to 5th. and Rob, after his win at Buxton, to 6th. Diane, Phil, Jarrod, Jon and Matt complete the top ten. Ian moves up to 17th., Louisa to 18th. and Diane to 25th.

 Janine continues to be second lady but Louisa edges above Sally for third. Behind Huma, Diane comes up to 6th., then it is Nicky, Angela, Gail, Clare, with Catriona moving ahead of Carolyn.

 League 1, after Damian, is Allan, up to second, Mike and Tom, Trevor up to 5th with Diane and Rob sharing 6th.

Phil, Jon and Jarrod keep the podium places in League 2.  Matt moves above Steve for 4th and Ian above Janine and Paul for 6th. Then it's Andy and  Louisa.

Richard took his eighth League 3 60-points at Bollington. Diane has leapt up to second pushing down Sally, Tim, Andy, Gareth, Chris, Geoff, Chris, Patrick and Nicky.

Huma has now registered 14 wins in League 4. John has consolidated his second place. Ian has climbed-back to third place, level with Jon, but it is all very tight with five points covering Clare, Angela, Gail, Ian and Jon. Then come Carolyn and Simon.

Another race and League 5 has another new leader; Catriona. Sue is second and Janet's win at Bollington has taken her above Julie to third. Don is 5th., Trevor moves above Roy into 6th. Amy is threatening.
