As the Summer Series enters its final stages a good selection of WRC made the journey down to Lytham today with points to be gained and scores to settle. The weather was kind except for the downpour at the end and it was a flat, fast course with a good field of runners from local clubs. This was also the final race in the Lancashire Grand Prix so it was an important race for some. Quite a few of us did the double, having been at Heaton Park the day before, but to be honest I dont think it did much harm to the times today. A friendly, well organised race on the whole.
