Also on Sunday 6th October was the Chester Marathon, with 2 Wilmslow runners. The event was won by Marius Ionescu (Altrincham) in 2:21:42, first lady was Julie Briscoe (Wakefield), 15th in a time of 2:40:26. There were 2,951 finishers. Congratulations to Gareth and Laura – and Laura was even training on Tuesday!
