Fourth race in the five race series…A time when results become even more important with only the decider @ Woodbank Pk to come.
The day started bright and sunny although a cold crispness in the air…but underfooot mud and more mud. Not a road runners course but a traditionalists XC course!
And the results…Tremendous …A clean sweep with Wilmslow winning both mens and ladies Senior races and both Vets races.

Results for the series to date are also there : Its best four results both individual and team. As with all things, you can play with permutations with just Woodbank Park to come ( Sunday 10th February). But ultimately its what we do that counts…Turn up and give it our best shots.
I have reserved 30 tickets for the hot pot presentation that follows the Woodbank race at the Brittania Hotel (two minutes drive from Woodbank).
The support was tremendous, cakes enjoyed by all. Thanks all and to Paul Sanders for acting as marshal.
So back to it on Tuesday night and then 4V and race one of the 2013 Cheshire Grand Prix, next Sunday. And of course…The Woodbank decider…Sunday10th February.
Well done all.
Nick.
An excellent result – Sorry I wasn’t able to run, although clearly I wasn’t needed!
Andi Jones was running as a guest now that he is no longer a member of Salford H, so I assume Damian will count as the winner as far as the league is concerned!
Not sure what quite happened !! Jeff Norman is actually Dave who I am sure won !Andi paid £5 and ran as unattached although he could have run as a Stockport member but not as a counter having spoken with Brenda under MACCL rules.
But a number of people told me that Andi dropped out in the home straight (50 metres to go)although not according to the results!
So its silver for Damo, as he was second behind Dave Norman…but Damian was gunning for gold on Sunday night he tells me !! 🙂
