This was a challenging little 10k taking in many of the landmarks and hills of Stockport.  The Malcolm-measured course took us out up the A6, down through Vernon Park, back up New Zealand Road and we returned through the historic, cobbeldy bits of the town centre.  As it was council organised, all the roads were magically closed for the duration of the race.  Hopefully this will grow next year to become a big local race and Summer Series candidate.  Strength and depth once again from the WRC ladies as Sharon, Rachel and a (slightly ailing) Janine monopolised the podium.  A great run from Rachel took over 5 minutes off her PB – the next 5 might be harder!

  1. I ran this one too, not quite as quickly as the others!

  2. Well done Rob. However it wasn’t measured by me in the end. They cancelled the day I was going to measure it due to bad weather and there was no other date when they were available that I could make it, so I don’t think the course was ever officially measured
