    I’ve lived in Parrs Wood and Heaton Mersey for 45 years and have never heard of Varley Park …… The Burnage Park Run is actually in Heaton Mersey and apart from the PWHS playing field is the School XC course I first ran in 1967 . I’m heading there soon .
    Varley Park must be the home ground of Burnage RC who moved from Burnage to it’s new location in the mid 70’s .
    You learn something everyday .
