Manchester Area CCL : Final Race Clayton Vale Saturday 11th February

An icy day with the race in doubt on arrival but a change to the start area to prevent a slippery uphill stretch close to the start allowed the final and deciding race to go ahead .

The standard has been higher than ever this year with large fields at each race .

We have turned out in high numbers at each race . The buzz and teamship has been evident throughout.Well done all. Following the league presentation we again came away with a good haul of medals . Pictures from the awards are at www.hsphotos.co.uk

Overall Rob Downs was winning vet with Graham MacNeill 3rd Vet.

To compliment the ladies , the men also won the Vets category .

Its been a tough winter but nearly done …The daddy of them all is Saturday 25th February : The National XC Championships in London : We travel by coach : Places are still available . Please let me know if you are on the bus !!
