Angela Maziere is having a good year the highlight of which was a magnificent run at Meerbrook.
Peter Watson has also run well all year and nearly always picks up the over 70 award. In the smaller races, our runners often come home weighed-down with prizes but in a high-class race at Birchwood, Peter was our only category winner.
Chris 'Curtis' Cannon, is having a brilliant year. He has run all 17 races in the Summer Series and is steadily seeing-off all his challengers for the League 5 title. In August he ran particularly well at Pie & Peas and Birchwood.
This was the first month under the new method of choosing. In fact, the panel was evenly split so the decision was determined, as in the past, by the runner, Chris, voted-in by the club as a whole.
