As you are no doubt aware , a group from the club recently ran in the Luberon races on Sunday 3rd October .
Following the success of our previous trips to St Tropez for the "St Tropez 10" ably arranged by ex pat Monsieur George , we have now been to Luberon in Provence for the last few years , this time with the kind help of Cat and Mike .
Suffice to say that we enjoyed a week of fun , sun , friendship , training and finally racing .
Some settled for the 10k ( myself included ) while others entered the half ……Malcolm is even talking of the marathon next year !! Go Malc ….Go !!
All that ran did the club proud and we had two podium placings at the prize giving ceremony after the event , with Malcolm placing 7th in the half marathon and 1st V 40 , while I somehow managed 2nd V50 !
A full report will be put together with photos and all race placings , but for now you will need to find out more from anyone you see wearing with pride the Marathon de Provence Luberon T-Shirt at the club !!
