It was almost perfect running conditions and another busy day in the park. With Stuart and I both resting there was a chance for some of the regulars in the following pack to enjoy the fresh at the front. The first 3 and 7 in the top 10 were unattached.
The ladies race was a 1-2-3 for the new Wilmslow ladies Sally, Jane and Janine. The WRC training must be doing the trick for Sally as she recorded a big new course PB.
The Wilmslow men were more subdued but Mark Bale was well up there eventually just being pipped for third. Ian remains 6th on the M60 all time list but is still looking to find over a minute between the woods and the water to leap into the top 5.
Young James Parrott had the run of the day with a 40s PB for 5th and a sprint finish that his old dad can only dream about.
