A great run from Mark to take almost 30s off his course best. The story of the day was actually the 4th placed man – he'd forgotten his shorts and ran the race in his y-fronts. Running scared Mark held him off by just a second and Vinny maintained a respectable distance. It was a good piece of running but I suspect that the Y-fronts record might be challenged before the end of the summer.
Sue won the ladies race making an impressive 7th win from 9 appearances.
Mark and Ian proved that you can run two races in two days and Roy showed that you don't have to.
