We reached our 50th event in fine style with over 200 finishers. Wilmslow runners were mostly away running marathons, relays, 10ks, long runs etc. but John Porteous ran and managed a PB and Jeff Kettle who trains with us finished 3rd.
We're seeing some pretty impressive runs by unattached runners: some long term improvers and others who just turn up and realise they can run – this week's winner just appeared on the start line, ran round in an even paced 17 minutes and hardly appeared to be blowing – I'll have a word with him.
