Clearly Jim at Wesham and Damian at Cheddleton were not the only racers at the weekend …..and an update from Malcolm on his own Cheddleton experience.
Nick,
I think you will find Cheddington is in Dorset! It was the Cheddleton 'Christmas Pudding' 10K that Damian and I competed in.
Whilst Damian was flying round the course at the front, I was bimbling round 3 minutes behind him recording my slowest ever 10K time!
Next year if I want a Christmas Pudding I'll go to Tesco's like any normal person!
Malcolm
More fine results below : well done all.
Thirsk 10
Nick – I managed to complete the Thirsk 10 miler on Sunday.
Billed as a flat and fast course it lived up to both claims. Whilst not quite matching the pace or positions set by either Damian and Jim, I managed a very healthy 65m 51s to set a new pb and finish a little way behind the winning time of 50m 31s.

Salford Ladies 5.25
Jane and I braved the cold today to run this popular ladies race. Normally we have a good turnout from the Wilmslow ladies, past results are littered with our names. The weather and other races meant that only the 2 of us raced. It was cold, but clear, and the course had patches of ice in certain places, which meant you had to run a bit cautiously at times. We both had a good race and thoroughly enjoyed it. Jane finished 10th overall, 3rd LV40, I finished 46th overall and 6th LV45
Julie Lucas.
Including a number from the club at Bramhall thats five events this weekend …..keep them coming !
Nick.
