The Trafford 10k lived up to its billing as probably the fastest 10k in the region as in almost perfect conditions at least three of Wilmslow's fastest runners recorded PBs. Damien, Jim and Trevor M all clocked new figures while the men also walked away with the team prize. The early start didn't suit Damien who claimed he didn't really wake up until 2k and so only improved on his best by about 10 seconds. However Jim somehow managed to take another minute off his best and joined the sub 34 club, while Rob was just outside 34 mins again. Trevor didn't quite make sub 35 while Mick also smashed Tony's V60 club record and Paul was just outside 40 mins.
It will be interesting to see what times the above do at Sutton as comparison. For the record, Trevor's Garmin clocked the course as spot on 10k – just in case you thought it was short!
