Steve Vernon dropped in to give us a master class in how to run round a park recording an almost unbelievable winning time that broke Mike's longstanding course record by over a minute. The rest of us could only watch from a safe distance as Steve appeared to sprint the entire race.
So Mike could relax and save his legs for the Great Warford Run and the suit fitting. Sally had a fine run to finish 2nd lady. Tom ran an excellent 17:37 to relieve Ray Eagle of the MV50 record and his age grading wasn't far behind the winner. Not to be outdone Roy was fastest MV55 on the day and indeed needs only to find another 3 minutes per lap to threaten the category record. Stephen Feber made a speedy but anonymous debut.
