Numbers were a bit down this week which was to be expected the day before the Great Manchester Run, Chester Half Marathon, Cholmondeley and triathlon events. However the slightly damp conditions didn’t stop over 50 runners toeing the line once again. The park was looking particularly fine and leafy.With a reduced field the old men were able to hobble to the front. None more so than the ever green Malcolm Fowler who chalked up his second win this month in a new MV45 course record …
Andy Penney also had a strong run ahead of Edinburgh and completed a Wilmslow 1-2-3.
