Ran a nice local race today, the Gin Pit 5. Well worth a ride over, guys, well marshalled and run by Astley and Tyldesley. The race is run round local trails, and is 1 small loop and 2 large with a very tricky little incline on all three laps. The rest is undulating. I managed a reasonable time, and will definitely have another go.

I competed in this race last year. Tucked away in a venue that you would never stumble across by accident, yet only 30 mins drive from Wilmslow. it is definitely worth considering as a future Summer Champs race. I wrote an article on it in one of last years newsletters.
