There may have been wind & rain down in London, but up North we have real weather.
A visit to the in-laws in Preston allowed me to escape for the Guys 10 (mile)- heavy rain on the way up and it continued all day. Well organised flat course through country lanes. I’m sure it would be nice in summer, but we just got wind, rain and a few swimming pool sections you just had to wade through.
Large block of lancashire cheese for all finishers and I was happy to get under the hour for the first time.
